city life is imprisoned by the engineered giants of the last century: dams. we live in a world bound by delivery and concealed by hidden infrastructure. this video aggregates, parses, extracts, and locates all dams that have been built in the last century with a holding capacity of at least 3,000,000 cubic meters. through storytelling, i speculate an alternative spatial distribution of urbanity that may follow climate patterns and evapotranspiration rather than antiquated infrastructures of urban lock-in.
